Introducing VCam for Mac (Beta)

We’re excited to announce the beta launch of VCam for Mac, which ships with an entirely new and improved user experience, better performance, and more accurate background removal models. This initial release for Mac will be later rolled out to all Windows users over the coming months, and marks the beginning of the future for VCam!

Update (01st March 2024): Version 2.0.69 has just been released. Find out everything that’s new!

This is a beta build and you may encounter issues! Send your feedback via our Slack community.

Featuring a revamped user interface, this new version addresses a number of pain points, makes room for a number of exciting new features, significantly improves accessibility, and begins to build upon teams and Workspaces within VCam. Behind the scenes has seen a number of improvements too! Rebuilt from the ground up, we’ve optimized the development and build process for better efficiency, improved the overall performance of VCam, and introduced an improved model for more accurate background removal.

We’ll be continuously improving the Mac beta over the coming weeks, before rolling it out further to Windows users (and maybe beyond!). You can send us your feedback via our Slack community, or by clicking the “Send feedback” option inside the app. We read and engage with every comment, so don’t hold back!
