We released a free background editor - but why?
Hey everyone, I’m Kenji, Customer Experience manager for the VCam.ai team! I’m your go-to person when it comes to setting up your teams and deploying our product across your organization. I usually talk to you on a 1:1 basis and this is my first time addressing everyone like this. Hopefully, you will be seeing more of me here as I do my best to work on things that benefit you! Today, I have something neat for both our existing customers and those of you still browsing and exploring our platform.
I’ve taken many a call with companies across a wide spectrum of industries and seen the SAME default Zoom background in at least 40% of them… Now, not everyone ends up going with our services, and that’s completely fine! But if anyone reading this is still using that same background (you know the one), I implore you, you don’t even have to reconsider our services! But please invest just 2 minutes to start repping your company and show some personality.
How? Well, we just released our Online Background Editor!
Create a custom virtual background with your company logo in a few clicks
This is a completely free tool accessible to all, even if you aren’t a VCam user. Today, it is a very simple editor that allows you to choose a nice professional background and stick your company logo on top of it. In a mere couple of clicks, you could have a much better virtual background that also showcases your company branding in every single call, on any platform!
It was such a frustration to me seeing how easily we default to the same template everyone else uses. You don’t want to be like everyone else do you? Even something as simple as this will hopefully give you even a small extra oomph whenever you click that “Join Meeting” button (and hey, maybe even some praise from your manager who values company loyalty).
So even if you don’t end up signing up to VCam, hey, no harm done. But I implore you, I am literally giving you this on a silver platter. It may not affect your quarter objectives and KPIs, after all it’s just a background right? Wrong. It’s an impression, a signal. The same way people judge a sales rep by the brand of their shirt, every little presentable detail could help. Not like you are losing anything to begin with so really, what risk are you taking here?
And yes, I hear you, this is as basic in function as it gets. Well, that’s the point. A simple, quick and easy way to create a virtual branded background that is platform agnostic and can be used anywhere. That’s it, because that’s all it needs to be. Think of it as a specialized, free alternative to Canva that excels at one thing: Background Editing.
We of course already have a list of things we want to add that WE think would be cool. But what matters is what YOU want.
