  • Nametags: show your name and job title as a nametag on top of your camera feed. This is in early beta, and we plan to expand on this feature over the coming months to include Dashboard control, more designs, and complete customization across fonts, colours, padding, style, and more!

  • Power Saving: when minimized to tray and not in active use, VCam will release the camera and enter into power saving mode. This allows you to keep VCam open in the background without consuming significant resources.

  • Minimize to Tray: VCam can now be minimized to the tray (or menu bar on Mac)!

  • Download and store Unsplash images in full HD (previously they were being wrongly served at 480p).

  • Improve the UX of background & logo selection and status.
